How do I join?
One way of joining is to telephone Parents Without Partners (Vic) Inc Head Office. City callers can phone 9852 1945 and country callers on 1300 PWP VIC OR 1300 797 842. Or you can join right here online, fill in the form then you are taken to our secure server for your payment. You can also download a membership form from this site, just complete the application form, enclose the necessary cheque or Money Order and proof of identity and forward it all to the address stated.  After the application form is processed, you will be required to attend an information meeting. Another way is to make direct contact with the Membership Secretary of the Branch you wish to join.  You will then be invited to attend the Information meeting where you will fill out the application form and pay the necessary fees.

One thing about Parents Without Partners is that every member fits in since we have all been through what you may be going through now (whether it is divorce, widowhood, or just being single).  We all have a common bond, being single parents!  Many members and ex-members have established long-term friendships through our organisation.

I have a friend, who is not a member, but who I’d like to bring along to a PWP activity.  Is that OK?
Most PWP functions are for members and their children only.  The exceptions to this rule are the monthly Open dances held by some Branches and special fund-raising functions.

What kind of dress is expected at the dances and other events?
Dress for most events is neat casual.  For special events such as Branch or State Balls, a stricter dress code is applied.

My children don’t live with me; can I still be a member?

Is PWP a dating service?
PWP exists for the benefit of its members and their children.  We offer discussions, children’s activities and parent only activities.  Although members sometimes do date each other, PWP does not offer any service of this sort.
